Today it´s the b-day of my housemate Alison, we brought her the breakfast to bed while we were singing happy birthday really early this morning!

She is a buto dance teacher and indepent choreographer!

Lindy Friday!

Some of you know it...other dont! But every Friday I usually go to Swing dance classes, they are runned by a non profit dance organisation called Lindy Fridays.
Lindy Hop is a form of swing dance, a fusion of many dances that preceded it  or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway and Charleston. 

You cant imagine how funny is! So if you ever are in Leeds, come to join us!

Balenciaga

If you never heard about Cristobal Balenciaga, you should die! He was called "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and was probably the finest designer of the "New Look" era after M. Dior himself, and worked for much longer than Dior did.
Born at the Basque country, he owned few stores at Madrid&Barcelona, but Spanish civil war made him run away to Paris his success was nearly immediate.

The fluidity of his silhouettes enabled him to manipulate the relationship between his clothing and women's bodies, his bubble skirts and odd, feminine, yet ultra-modern shapes were trademarks.
Balenciaga is without doubt pure inspiration and admiration. Few years ago I was lucky from seeing near one of his master pieces close and believe me when i say that we only expression i could make were tears on my eyes!

I love...Lati doll

I had never been a BJD (ball jointed doll) fan but for me its completely different with Lati Yellow doll. They are made by the Korean brand ´Lati´ just few times per year...They made special editions too limited in number! They are a bit expensive so sadly i don't have (and i wont ever have!) many of them...My lati family have only two members: Esplendor Geometrico & Joy Division. I bought both almost at the same time but if you are ordering directly from lati website it can take ages to receive your order!
As i said both are Lati Yellow, it means only 16 cm height! On the future ill like to have another want because I'm planing to make a ´lati grunge band´ and display them on a band practice diorama!

New year´s eve!

Its a bit late for making my new years eve post...But the last days i had been quite busy...Moving, Korean CS, working (yes...sometimes i work, but not too much because i get tired and i don't want to break any of my nails!)

My friend Cristina organized a dinner at her place, everybody had to bring something. It was really exiting because we were from lot of different places of the world! From Taiwan to Germany! And the table looked amazing with all our world wide food!

I made a prawn cocktail...Cris thought it was something Japanese but she was completely wrong...From that night until today we still having the joke about me being Japanese...

As I have to change the dish i added a crab cocktail in one side and the prawn (with avocado) in the other side...And yes, it was delicious!

We celebrate the countdown eating 12 grapes, as the Spanish tradition...And I ate mine on time! It's really hard! After the toast with Cava we waited for my Korean CS having some drinks, she was coming from Korea that night! 

And once all together we went to another party at an amazing attic at Gracia neighborhood...Funny, the parts i remember but i finished getting really crazy. 

Cris and me...I look psychotic, i know...i know...

Maybe i have said it before but if i don't I'm going to say it now!: One of my hidden pleasures and a huge hobby is photography. I own a canon EOS 450D and last year for X-Xmas my parents bought me a new macro lens. I wanted it just for make pictures of my dolls but i checked that you can make great portraits too...At the same time i bought a new pair of glasses, huge and red glasses! All my friends wanted to try it and i don't know how it came for first time but i starting making pictures of them and as I'm part of the CS community (Ill explain in other post) i had the great chance of making pictures of people of all over the world!
I wanted to show it at some place on internet but my Flickr is more doll related and really random...so i made a tumblr account!
